Cutter Operator
Description:
Responsible for operation of robots, cutters and associated equipment to affect the timeliness and quality cutting of blends Into the blend boxes. This is accomplished by setting the robot discharge rate, cutter belt speed, diverter setups In the plant floor control panel to the most optimum settings for each grade. The operator should be skilled at changing the robot and cutter bls1des, vibrator pads, unchoklng dlverters, and removing knots'' from all rolls and belts. The operator should be skilled at routine servicing procedures for cutters and robots.

Provide On-The-Job training as assigned by supervisor for other employees
Job Risks:
Pinching, compression, tripping, eyes, electricity, cuts and abrasion, and fire
Safety equipment required: Gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, face shields, and dust mask (optional)
General requirements:
Capable of performing tasks Including but not limited to working at heights and working in confined spaces. Able to read, write and convey ideas. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds with adequate body flexibility
Quality:
Maintain quality standards by product as assigned
Cleaning:
Specifically but not limited to- Cutters, fans, diverters, blending box tops, between blending boxes up to heads, associated aisles, walls overhead structures and ductwork.
Training:
Fully understand and demonstrate competence In tasks as described In the Job Task Analysis documents.

Forklift Inspection and basic servicing
Scissor Lift Operation
Cutter blade change and adjustment
Vibrator Pad replacement
Elevator Cleaning
Operation of cardboard and waste balers
Cutter Operation
Bale opening procedures
Cleaning Diverters and ducts of choke-ups
General Cleaning procedures
Cutter changeover and setup procedures
Perform tasks as trained & obtain specific instructions from your supervisor for.any variances
