The Martex Fiber team works constantly to help the environment and to make sure our processes are as environmentally-friendly as possible. Please read on to find the ways in which Martex Fiber is benefiting the environment:

• By recycling textile waste, we help reduce incinerator and landfill use.

• We do not use any wet processing, which means no runoff or water contamination.

• We do not melt plastics, so no harmful chemicals are released into the air.

• Our reprocessed cotton requires no land use, intensive water irrigation, and no fertilizers or pesticides. In fact, according to a study by Gail Baugh at San Francisco State University, recycled cotton uses less water, chemicals, dyes and energy than organic cotton.
